THIS IS A BIG ONE…..If you leave food out, whether it’s pet food, or just crumbs on the counters or floors, you will attract them, AND it will be much harder to get rid of them.

1. Clean debris around your home, business, apartment building if possible. Move any barrels, wood piles, etc. away from the foundation. This will make it harder for the mice and rats to hide.
2.  Many of us have pets. Make sure you pick up any scattered food particles, and remove pet food at night. Also be sure to clean up any spilled water and don’t leave water out at night.
3.  Put away any food on counters  and store it in rodent free containers.
